2023 Stella & Chewy’s Year In Review

From helping pets in need to spoiling your own furry best friend, you accomplished a ton in 2023! Let’s take a walk down memory lane and celebrate some of the most exciting things you did with your pet this year. 

You Helped Us Celebrate Our 20th Birthday

In 2023 Stella & Chewy’s celebrated our 20th year! That’s 140 dog years, you know. Thanks for helping us celebrate, and learn a little more about our story by checking out our mission and values.

Your Pet Tried Lots of Tasty New Food

You asked us for exciting new innovations in pet food and we delivered! This year we launched tons of products, including SuperBlends kibble and new recipes of FreshMade, our 100% human grade, gently cooked dog food. Your favorite Meal Mixers recipes expanded to include Surf & Turf and a Perfectly Puppy recipe as well as Dandy Lamb and Tantalizing Turkey in larger 35oz. bag sizes. You also asked us to expand our wet cat food selection, so we added Carnivore Cravings Morsels’N’Gravy wet pouches. We also gave you two new freeze-dried raw dinner morsel recipes– Bountiful Beef and Plate Lickin’ Pork! For cats who like to switch things up, we now offer variety packs of our Carnivore Cravings Savory Shreds and Purrfect Pâté cans. What was your pet’s favorite?

You Recommended Us So Much That Forbes Noticed

We’re thrilled to be vetted by Forbes in The Best Dry Dog Foods, According to Holistic Veterinarians for two of our products this year! Our best-selling Super Beef Patties were named Best Freeze-Dried Dog Food, and our Wild Red Raw-Coated Kibble was named Best Raw-Coated Dry Dog Food.

You Had These Instagram Reels on Repeat

You loved our reels on Instagram, but none quite so much as these! Vitothedogfather‘s take on how we feed our pets better than we feed ourselves was super relatable, while our silent fireworks show reel showed pet parents how to share the 4th of July with their pets. Eggnogthebulldog made us all laugh with her adorable baseball costume and loungewear. Altogether these reels had more than 35 million views!

You Voted For the Winners of the First-Ever Petfluencer Contest

This summer marked our very first Petfluencer contest! You shared 5,258 photos of your pets, and 3,224 neighborhood pet stores participated. That made it really tough to choose a winner!  In the end, Rocky the husky from Utah was named our grand prize winner!

You Watched Our Silent “Fireworks” Show With Your Pet

We were so happy to celebrate the 4th of July with you and your pets at our pet-friendly silent fireworks show made up of 300 drones! You couldn’t get enough of our recap on Instagram, watching it over 4.2 million times! The “fireworks” show was even featured on USA Today. 

You Gave Over 5,000 Products Five-Star Reviews
