OUR DONATION TO OREGON HUMANE SOCIETY & FIDO

As part of our long-standing commitment to helping shelter dogs through the Journey Home Fund program, we are donating more than 140,000 pounds of dog kibble to Oregon Humane Society & FIDO Pet Food Bank this month to support families and pets displaced by the wildfires out west.

  • The donation will help assure that displaced dogs, or those of evacuated families, have access to nutritious meals.
  • The Oregon Humane Society currently has close to 500 pets in its care and helps 11,000 pets find new homes each year.
  • FIDO is “on call” to help Oregon communities and individuals when emergencies occur. In 2020, their programs provided more than 640,000 meals and a wide variety of supplies to pet-companions in need.

ABOUT JOURNEY HOME FUND

Both Stella and Chewy, the inspirations for our brand, were adopted as adult dogs. This inspired our passion for adult and senior pet adoption. Through our Journey Home Fund, we work to raise awareness about the joys of older pet adoption, while helping to support shelters and rescues across the country who share our mission.
