About Dirty Dogs and Meow
Dirty Dogs and Meow was started by the Btesh family in 2008. The original idea to start the business came from Joel Btesh, the younger son of the family. He saw a need for a dog wash and natural food store in the Carmel Valley area and bugged his parents every day on the way to school to start one. His father, Salomon Btesh, ran into a long-time friend who owned a shopping center in the area and pitched him the idea of opening up a natural dog and cat supply store offering cage-free grooming and self bathing facilities. He loved the idea they shook on the deal. The entire family worked at the first location and learned the ins and outs of the pet industry. They opened a second location in 2011 and have continued to open a total of five locations around the greater San Diego area.
They are dedicated to raising the standards of pet care in San Diego, providing healthy nutritional foods, cage-free grooming, self-serve washing facilities and accessory products. They inspire their customers to provide their pets with the best quality products and services at the most competitive price points. They promise to put their customers’ pets’ health and happiness before profits. Their knowledgeable staff and fun atmosphere guarantee that customers enjoy the experience. They are dedicated to making tails wag and extending the lives of pets throughout the San Diego region. Their entire team is extremely involved and passionate about the health and wellness of animals and serving their community.
Dirty Dogs and Meow offers self wash bathing facilities as well as a professional grooming salon in addition to pet food and supplies. They offer same day, local delivery for orders placed before 12pm. They also offer auto-ship for 30% off your first purchase and 5% off every order after, to ensure that pets get their favorite food or treats automatically delivered so pet parents never have to worry about running out!
Though it’s hard for them to choose a single Stella & Chewy’s product as a favorite, they are currently loving FreshMade gently cooked dog food as their newest favorite! They love that it’s an easy to serve, highly nutritious and versatile food. It works great as a topper for kibble or as a complete and balanced meal.
