What’s Inside Our Raw Freeze-Dried Dog Food

Freeze-dried raw dog food starts as fresh raw dinner patties made from 90-95% muscle meat, organ meat and bones. After freezing, moisture is vacuumed out while retaining all of the nutritional value—including the natural enzymes found in raw animal proteins. We also add probiotics, antioxidants, essential vitamins and minerals and taurine to provide best-in-class nutrition.

Feeding Freeze-Dried Dog Food

Freeze-dried raw dinner patties have a long shelf life and make mealtime easy: you can serve as-is, or rehydrate with water or bone broth. You can also break or crumble the patties if that makes them easier for your dog to eat.

Freeze-dried raw meal mixers & toppers let dog parents add mealtime excitement with the irresistible taste of raw. Simply sprinkle a scoop over your dog’s bowl.

Freeze-dried raw dog treats are a great low-calorie way to reward your pup with the protein-packed flavor they love from minimal, all-natural ingredients.

Types of Frozen Dog Food

Stella & Chewy’s offers two types of frozen dog food:

Our frozen raw dog food is available in two formats: dinner morsels and dinner patties. Frozen raw dinner morsels thaw more quickly and come in five different recipes. Frozen raw dinner patties give dog parents even more options with eight different recipes, most (but not all) available in both small and large patty sizes.

Our frozen gently cooked dog food is made with 100% human-grade ingredients, cooked sous vide in BPA-free pouches and flash frozen at peak freshness to preserve taste and nutrition.

Feeding Frozen Dog Food

Feeding frozen raw or gently cooked dog food is easy: store in the freezer and thaw fully before serving as a complete meal or meal topper. You can thaw frozen dog food in the fridge, at room temperature, or by submerging in a bowl of tepid water (use a zipper bag).
