In my practice, the Stella & Chewy’s brand raw diet fills a special niche. Unfortunately, cancer in our pet companions is far too prevalent. I am often asked to recommend a meat-based diet that is safe for an immune-suppressed patient. Pets receiving chemotherapy or steroid treatment for allergies can utilize Stella & Chewy’s Certified Pathogen Safe food. I have appreciated the availability of the unique Duck Duck Goose formula for “cooling” my patients with hot constitutions or inflammatory disorders. Perhaps the biggest plus from stocking Stella & Chewy’s has been the bonding which occurs between my patients and I when I open my cookie jar and they excitedly devour a freeze-dried Stella & Chewy’s patty from the vet!

I wanted to let you know that your frozen patties have given our 10 year old English Bulldog (Dallas) a renewed purpose in life. We decided to switch him from a grain free kibble because he recently experienced some health issues & we found he was having trouble eating without choking. (Plus, he wasn’t as excited about his meals & we feared the worst.) Our hope was that he would be able to eat his food without incident & that he would once again love eating like he has since birth but NEVER in our wildest imagination did we anticipate mealtime would become his new obsession. We are convinced he can tell time because he starts pestering us around the same time each morning & evening, looking for his Stella & Chewy’s. To say we are thrilled is an understatement. So on behalf of Dallas and his parents, we would like to commend you for a fantastic product. It is safe to say, much like Stella, Dallas has his groove back!

I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you for your cat food. I believe it gave my IBD cat, Tiki, four more years of life. I believe your product did more for her than chemo. Duck Duck Goose was the only food her stomach could tolerate, and I’m so grateful to have found it. Tiki recently passed away at the ripe old age of 16. When she was alive, I switched my other cat to Stella & Chewy’s as well, and today my last bag ran out. I briefly thought, “I could buy cheaper food now,” but instead I bought your herring and chicken flavors. My other guy is almost 12, which is the age Tiki was when she was diagnosed, and I want him to live a long, happy life. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever buy anything but your food again. Thank you so much for making it.
