Founded in 1990, Chuck & Don’s has 50 stores in the Midwest, mostly in Minnesota. Obsessed with nutrition, they have 1,400 employees with an estimated 1 million hours of food training to prove it. They’ve curated the best products and their Pet Foodies have read up on every ingredient, studied every label, and even tasted the food from time to time – all to help pet parents find the best diet that fits the unique needs of their pets. Chuck & Don’s believes the local community is the heartbeat of why they do what they do. They get to know their customers and they find ways to change their assortment because of their feedback.
They are involved in helping their local communities by offering the following:
Community Room: A few of their stores have an extra space which is a unique community resource designed to bring pets and people together. It is a great space for rescues and other qualifying groups to hold an event.
Foster Cat: Many of their stores partner with local rescues to foster a cat available for adoption to give it better visibility to the public so the cats can find their forever homes faster. All adoptions go through the rescues, not through Chuck & Don’s.
Sponsorships: They sponsor several local events in their communities.
